Amazon runs the world's largest online store and Amazon Web Services (AWS), the biggest cloud computing platform. It also operates Prime Video, Alexa voice assistants, Kindle e-readers, Whole Foods grocery stores and a large advertising business. Through AWS HealthOmics, it offers a service that stores and analyses DNA and other genetic sequence data for research labs and drug companies. AWS also hosts protein AI models, such as EvolutionaryScale's ESM3, which was trained on billions of natural protein sequences, and Amazon invested in EvolutionaryScale's first funding round.
